Eating Out

After much trial and error I have learned several things when eating out. First of all, it's sometimes a crapshoot, and sometimes you lose big. I have also learned places that I can eat, and where I can not. Remember, this is my food list. You may or may not be able to eat at these places.

Cannot Eat At:

Applebees: My throat closed when I ate a hamburger, have had no luck with other menu items, always have a reaction. I assume they use a lot of paprika, but that is an assumption on my part.

Buffalo Wild Wings: I can only eat dessert here, and I have to be careful because the spicy air can cause asthma attacks. This was a hard one for me, because my family and I love to play the trivia games.

Chinese food buffets: These are risky. You may or may not be able to eat the food. Use caution.

Can Eat At:

Olive Garden: They will make your salad to your specifications! I have found the garlic alfredo sauce with the shrimp is edible! I asked the cook. The shrimp is made in butter and there are no peppers in the dish. So far so good. HOWEVER, be careful if there is a variation of the dish, because I did get one that had peppers in it.

Five Guys: My favorite burger! I get it with mushrooms, onions and lettuce. So far so good!

Annie Moore's Pub: I can eat the Cashel burger, fried goat cheese salad with no dressing, and the bacon and blue BBQ sweet potato fries -- make sure to leave off the BBQ, and substitute with honey.

Frank's Pizza: White pizza sauce, with garlic or mushroom toppings.

Papa John's: No sauce, pineapple toppings.
